29 and feeling fine πŸ‘ΈπŸ»





Happy New Year Gang.

Nearly two weeks into 2019, how’s it going? Still got the positive vibes and motivation for a new year, new you? Did you make any resolutions this year?

Im not sure if I actually did or not. Here’s the thing, If my goal is to complete 30 individual tasks, is it still just one goal?

Why do I ask such a profound conundrum??

 Well, my ‘New Years Resolution” or at least, my goal for the next 365 days is to complete my 30 for 30 list. 

Yes, that’s right, today is my 29th birthday. Sweet, little me is 30 next year 🀦🏼‍♀️




A 30 for 30 list is just that, a list of things - 30 things - I want to do before my 30th Birthday. I guess it’s Similar to a bucket list (or Fuck It list, as I prefer), but the goals are slightly more achievable than ones I’d like to conquer before I die. Especially since some I’ve already accomplished. 

I wrote this list about six months ago, when turning 30 seemed miles away. This side of the new year however, it’s looking like I’m going to have a busy year ... 

So. What’s on the list? (πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯³ = DONE) 


  1. Loose at least 30lbs and maintain
  2. Get another Tattoo
  3. Get another Ear piercing πŸ‘‚πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯³
  4. Travel alone
  5. Join a club or society
  6. Start a Language course/class/start to learn sign language 
  7. Go to gym or cancel membership 
  8. Go or have booked to visit Rome and/or Barcelona 
  9. Repair scratch to car
  10. Save at least £3000
  11. Owe less that £3000
  12. Cookery class
  13. Go on a rollercoaster 
  14. See at least 30 films at the cinema in a year
  15. One new career certification 
  16. Find a regular hobby πŸ“πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯³
  17. Find a cause or charity and donate/volunteer/fundraise πŸ€‘πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯³
  18. Take part in a challenge
  19. Start family tree
  20. Attend a significant event (protest, cup final, pride, carnival etc)
  21. Do something scary (hold a spider, skydive etc) 
  22. Spa break (not hotel with spa)
  23. Replace laptop
  24. Travel somewhere new in U.K.
  25. Learn to play chess
  26. See a psychic/medium πŸ‘»πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯³
  27. Go wine tasting
  28. Regular yoga/meditation 
  29. Christmas/NYE/Birthday away
  30. Start 40 for 40

So. That’s 4/30 completed. Like I said, a long, busy year ahead. 

I have made some plans tho. 
I’m planning to go to Dubai, with my family, for my birthday next year (no.29). I have an unlimited card for the cinema so no.14 should be easy if I make the effort. No. 7 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦πŸΌ‍♀️🀷🏼‍♀️ I’ve had a membership for about 3 years, I’ve probably been about 20 times. I need to sort myself out. So much wasted money (that could help with No.10 or 11).

I’m starting with number 25, my friend is coming to mine for a birthday cuppa and to teach me Chess πŸ€“
